Meeting The Government Target for 2010
By 2010, secondary schools in the UK are expected to have a VLE which integrates effectively with their MIS system in order to provide online reporting to parents.

Microsoft Sharepoint is a cost effective system which is proving extremely successful in providing schools and Local Authorities with the framework they need in order to not only meet this target, but develop a working online community for their staff, students and parents.
Sharepoint will integrate with SIMS.net to provide real time, two way links between your MLE and your SIMS data, allowing reports, assessment, behaviour, achievements, registration and lesson attendance and SEN data to be published to students or parents directly from your SIMS database.
See our e-book 'Sharepoint Design for Schools' to see how such a system has been successfully deployed in a real school, or the Blatchington Mill portal on the Sharepoint Schools Gallery.
